Like many industries, the COVID-19 pandemic certainly left its mark on the real estate world- and BrokerAssist was no exception. Though some of our partnership discussions were slowed, we learned how to be lean and agile & actualized an amazing opportunity when we were selected as one of 8 companies to represent the inaugural class of REACH Canada!
REACH Canada is a real estate technology accelerator program created by Second Century Ventures, the most active venture fund in the global real estate technology space. Backed by the National Association of REALTORS®, SCV and REACH leverage the association’s more than 1.4 million members and a worldwide network of executives within real estate and adjacent industries. We were honored to join several other game changing businesses for this opportunity to receive education, mentorship and market exposure.
Throughout the program, we were extremely fortunate to receive key intros to industry leaders & mentors who helped us refine our product, target customer fit and go to market strategy. The REACH Canada program taught us a great deal about proptech start-up business development. It was like getting an MBA in entrepreneurship- but even better, as it was actually growing our business! Some of our big wins from the program include:
-Launching BrokerAssist to the Canadian market
-Our partnership with Everhome for referrals
-Made the list of the top 29 real estate apps for 2021 by the Close
-Established a partnership with fellow REACH company, RECON, for referral tracking
-Won the REACH Canada “All In Award”

We are thrilled to have graduated from the inaugural REACH Canada accelerator, and want to share a BIG thank you to the entire REACH/SCV/NAR Community! Everyone that participated in this program was kind, thoughtful, honest, and dedicated to helping each other succeed.
